The award-winning Canada Place complex incorporates a mix of public and private sector amenities attracting several million guests annually.
Canada Place world-class reputation was established as the site for the Canada Pavilion at Expo 86, acknowledged as one of the best-ever host-nation pavilions at a world exposition. Wholly funded by the Government of Canada, the Canada Pavilion was converted into the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre in 1987 and was then officially turned over to the Province of British Columbia as a lasting legacy for the Canadian people.
Canada Place Corporation (CPC), a Crown agent, continues to act as the co-ordinating property manager for Canada Place facilities.
Canada Place, a mixed-use commercial facility, is home to the Vancouver Convention Centre, The Pan Pacific Hotel, Port Metro Vancouver Corporate Offices, Cruise Ship Terminal (Operated by Port Metro Vancouver), The IMAX Theatre, World Trade Centre Office Complex and VINCI Park parking facility.

With our expansion complete, we’ve tripled our size to cover 1.1 million square feet (or four city blocks) for a combined total of 473,523 square feet of pre-function, meeting, exhibition, and ballroom space.
